Card Blocking Through Audio Response
If you have lost or had your TEXAR Visa Photo Debit Card stolen, you need to block your card as soon as possible to prevent any potential fraud on your account. Follow the procedures listed below to block your card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using our Audio Response system.
To block your TEXAR Visa Photo Debit Card, please call our Audio Response System at 903.832.2444. Following the welcome message for Audio Response you will be prompted to enter one of the following:
"For the main menu of services press 1. If you are calling to report a card lost, stolen or not received press 2."
Press 2 - To block your card.
"Please enter the card number you wish to block or your credit union account number followed by the pound sign."

After entering your card number, the message will say "Stop Card number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX?"
To process press 1
To cancel press 9
Press 1 - A message will say "All cards with this card number have been blocked. Please visit your nearest TEXAR branch to receive a new card."
To block another card press 1
To end this call press 9
(To Block Using Account Number)
After entering your account number, the message says "For the Visa Debit Card for the primary member, press 1.
For the Visa Debit Card for the joint member, press 2."
Whether you are blocking the primary or joint member's card, you will be prompted as follows:
"Please enter the primary cardholders 9 digit social security number followed by the pound sign."
Enter your Social Security Number followed by the pound sign.
"Please enter the primary cardholders 6 digit date of birth followed by the pound sign."
Enter the date of birth in the following format, MMDDYY, and press the pound sign.
A message will say "Stop your Visa Debit Card?"
To process press 1
To cancel press 9
Press 1 - A message will say "All cards with this card number have been blocked. Please visit your nearest TEXAR branch to receive a new card."
To block another card press 1
To end this call press 9
